![]() This game really has a great identity and was very fun to play. Underwater games are very rare, underwater games that aren't World War strategic games are even rarer. There simply aren't any other games like this one. This game always was a soft spot of mine. I honestly wasn't expecting this to ever happen, so that's good. This game was our dream, and we hope that you can understand what our situation was. So, once again, I'm sorry we abandoned you, we really do appreciate each and every person who has picked up and played Diluvion. If anyone is interested in playing the new branch and giving feedback, I would appreciate that greatly. This is a complicated game, so I won't be releasing anything to the main branch unless it's been thoroughly tested. I can't promise that I'll be able to fix the issues we have, but I am here again, and I'll be responding, doing what I can to improve the game, and releasing my progress on a separate branch. It's so frustrating when a game is buggy and the devs are nowhere to be found. I know many of you have long abandoned / uninstalled this game - and I totally understand that. This has been on my mind for a very long time, but I've decided to revisit this project. I'm at a place now where things are more stable again, and I do have some free time. That bit ended up turning into a long time, as revisiting this game was like opening a can-of-worms of old emotions and esoteric technical knowledge. This was a passion project for us, so seeing that the version we released had bugs was painful, however, we HAD to pull ourselves away from the project for a bit. We did the reasonable thing, and for our own sakes, went our separate ways to find other work and regain our confidence. (And this isn't our publisher's fault - game financing can be quite complicated and I won't get into the details) However, eventually we were all doing this for no pay. ![]() The dev team (myself included) had put in many months of time to get Resubmerged to the state it's at today. Here I just want to explain a bit of what happened. I'm truly sorry to those of you who had a poor experience playing Diluvion due to bugs, unclear quests, save issues, and the like. ![]() The general consensus here is that the game is abandoned, and yes, that's a pretty fair assessment. I know there are a ton of unanswered questions, comments, and discussions here.
